A Season of Historical Significance

Note from Pastor Kristi Graner

As we navigate through this unique season in U.S. history, it’s important to realize the profound significance of our era. You are living for such a time as this.

Beyond our political affiliations, we have a much a higher calling: we are ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven. Our current life-circumstances are not coincidental. We are precisely where we need to be.

You are specifically placed to make an eternal impact: to pray, to vote, and to share what is stirring in your heart.

In the upcoming months, it’s essential that we embrace our roles as God’s sons and daughters. As representatives of heaven, we have a unique opportunity to bring light and hope to our families, communities, states, and country.

Our voices and actions, no matter how small they may seem, can make a significant difference.

“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.” – 2 Corinthians 5:20

Here are some ways to honor our King:

1. Inspire Hope

“In his name the nations will put their hope.” – Matthew 12:21

Hope is a powerful force. By maintaining our connection to Heaven and encouraging those around us, we can foster a sense of faith, community, and resilience.

Remember, he who has the most hope wins.

2. Engage with Honor

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” – Romans 12:10

Listening actively and sharing our perspectives with grace and respect can have a profound impact. Acting in love can spark meaningful dialogue and understanding.

Our actions truly do speak much louder than our words.

3. Lead by Example

“Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.” – 1 Corinthians 11:1

Our behavior sets the tone for those around us. Strive to represent Jesus well through truth, love, kindness, integrity, and compassion. Reflect on how our beliefs and values align with our actions.

Are we living out our faith in a way that truthfully represents our Lord?

4. The Power of Prayer and Fasting

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” – Mark 11:24

Prayer and fasting keep us in sync with heaven’s heartbeat.

This historical season offers a unique opportunity to bring heaven to earth. Our prayers move heaven. Jesus taught us that spiritual strongholds are moved when we dedicate time to pray and fast. Embrace this season with single-mindedness and purpose, knowing that we are part of something much larger than ourselves. Christians throughout our nation are praying and fasting for this election.

As you join your prayers with others, we are filling the bowls of heaven with our incense of prayer.

Join us as we set aside three days (or more) each month to pray and fast for the upcoming election. Please consider joining this effort. Together we are changing history.

We are living in a momentous era, one that will be remembered for generations to come. Each of us has the opportunity to embrace our roles as ambassadors of the Kingdom of Heaven to bring about change.

My prayer for you is that you will let God’s presence in you be a source of light and hope in these unique times. Your impact, no matter how small, contributes to the greater good.

Remember, you are exactly where you need to be. God created you for such a time as this!

With love,
Pastor Kristi
