“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” – Isaiah 40:29
In the world of faith and encouragement, there’s nothing quite like being part of a community that uplifts and shares stories of how God is moving around the world.
I was just on a call with a network of pastors who are associated with Bethel Church in Redding, California. As we gathered together, we also shared inspiring testimonies of healing and restoration. These stories reflect the reality that God actively desires to heal today, serve as a beacon of hope for me personally, and can be an encouragement for every person who faces challenges.
This is the power of testimony.
There is a common theme in each of these testimonies: God’s goodness and desire to heal us.
Healing comes in so many ways.
God customizes the healing to our needs.
He heals our minds, our wills, our emotions.
He heals our spirits and our bodies.
He heals our relationships.
He meets every unique need.
God is good.
If there is any area of your life where you aren’t feeling hope that God will heal, restore, provide or protect, listening to testimonies of what God has done will bring you encouragement.
As we walk through this life, we face challenges, pain, and brokenness. These things can cause us to want to withdraw, give up, or get angry.
When we hear a testimony of what God has accomplished in someone’s life, hope begins to spark again. It brings us a renewed courage to trust in God’s love for us and His willingness to heal.
Hope enables us to face our challenges with strength and determination.
In this month’s podcast, we are continuing our powerful discussion with Heidi Dick and her husband Steve. Heidi needed healing. Steve needed courage. God provided both.
